My Complete Kundalini Review

Highly Recommended

This e-book comes with the great features it has and offers you a totally simple steps explaining everything in detail with a very understandable language for all those who are interested.

Overall my first impression of this book is good. I think it was sincerely written and looks to be very helpful.

Kundalini Yoga in the West

Before Yogi Bhajan came to the West in 1969, Kundalini yoga was a secret science taught only to a few selected students. The significance of the open sharing of this technology is monumental and revolutionary. For the first time in known history, the democratization of Most of what was available when I discovered Kundalini yoga in 1976 was in the form of hand written notes. I kept thinking someone else was going to put them all together. However, destiny decided that I would be blessed with an enthusiastic student who would help me assemble four manuals from the early notes. These four books are still classics and are available on our website http www.yogatech.com The first and the most popular worldwide is Transitions to a Heart-Centered World. The next was Relax and Renew, followed by Sexuality and Spirituality. Introduction to Kundalini Yoga adds some new material and includes the best sets from the first three books. My destiny path is to help people like you practice Kundalini...

Experiences On Awakening Of Kundalini

During meditation you behold divine visions, experience divine smell, divine taste, divine touch, hear divine Anahata sounds. You receive instructions from God. These indicate that the Kundalini Shakti has been awakened. When there is throbbing in Muladhara, when hairs stand on their roots, when Uddiyana, Jalandhara and Mulabandha come involuntarily, know that Kundalini has awakened. When the breath stops without any effort, when Kevala Kumbhaka comes by itself without any exertion, know that Kundalini Shakti has become active. When you feel currents of Prana rising up to the Sahasrara, when you experience bliss, when you repeat Om automatically, when there are no thoughts of the world in the mind, know that Kundalini Shakti has awakened. When, in your meditation, the eyes become fixed on Trikuti, the middle of the eyebrows, when the Shambhavi Mudra operates, know that Kundalini has become active. When you feel vibrations of Prana in different parts inside your body, when you...

Pranayama For Awakening Kundalini

When you practise the following, concentrate on the Muladhara Chakra at the base of the spinal column, which is triangular in form and which is the seat of the Kundalini Shakti. Close the right nostril with your right thumb. Inhale through the left nostril till you count 3 Oms slowly. Imagine that you are drawing the Prana with the atmospheric air. Then close the left nostril with your little and ring fingers of the right hand. Then retain the breath for 12 Oms. Send the current down the spinal column straight into the triangular lotus, the Muladhara Chakra. Imagine that the nerve-current is striking against the lotus and awakening the Kundalini. Then slowly exhale through the right nostril counting 6 Oms. Repeat the process from the right nostril as stated above, using the same units, and having the same imagination and feeling. This Pranayama will awaken the Kundalini quickly. Do it 3 times in the morning and 3 times in the evening. Increase the number and time gradually and...

The Importance Of Kundalini Yoga

In Kundalini Yoga the creating and sustaining Sakti of the whole body is actually and truly united with Lord Siva. The Yogi goads Her to introduce him to Her Lord. The rousing of Kundalini Sakti and Her Union with Lord Siva effects the state of Samadhi (Ecstatic union) and spiritual Anubhava (experience). It is She who gives Knowledge or Jnana, for She is Herself That. Kundalini Herself, when awakened by the Yogins, achieves for them the Jnana (illumination). Kundalini can be awakened by various means and these different methods are called by different names, viz., Raja Yoga, Hatha Yoga, etc. The practitioner of this Kundalini Yoga claims, that it is higher than any other process and that Samadhi attained thereby is more perfect. The reason that they allege, is this In Dhyana Yoga, ecstasy takes place through detachment from the world and mental concentration leading the variety of mental operation (Vritti) of the uprising of pure consciousness unhindered by the limitations of the...

The Navel Chakra and Kundalini Yoga

Yogi Bhajan teaches that the seat of the Kundalini is in the navel center. Reflecting on my experience over the last 22 years of practicing Kundalini Yoga (preceded by 8 years of Hatha yoga), I have often had an intuitive urge to return to the navel center. The answer to the question at hand, whether it is about me or a student, is often strengthen your navel center.

Kundalini Spirit Jeh Az Kali

MEDITATION Utilize the methods of Ahrimanic Yoga to begin stirring the Kundalini, raise the fire snake within the Temple of Self, encircling and joining with the Black Serpent, Ahriman. Az-Kali-Lilith is indeed the path to inspiration, imagination and stirring emotion. Nothing is possible without the balance of the Feminine and Masculine, to believe otherwise is folly. INITIATORY FOCUS Ahrimanic Yoga, awakening the Archdaevas in the path of Kundalini. This is the very driving force of life-loving predatory spirituality. You are the only God that is, your path is made by your own choices and the interaction with the physical world will determine your tomorrow. As one seeking to mastery the path of sorcery, yatuk-dinoih, know that you must be insightful to the five senses and magick itself. This is the world of Satan, understand it well.

More Kundalini Meditations For Physical Wisdom

Meditation is the mindful direction of your awareness. It can be active, passive, ecstatic, serious, quiet, loud, in retreat, or during daily activities. Not all meditations do the same thing. It is like climbing a mountain. All paths lead to the top, but some paths develop leg strength (straight up the north wall), some develop aesthetic sense (the gradual path along the fields of flowers), and some enhance interpersonal skills (the path that crosses all the way stations and camps). All meditations will develop self-mastery and will engage aspects of the mind so you can live from your soul and awareness. Each meditation has its own signature and distinct effects. That is the power and vastness of Kundalini Yoga in the Raja Yoga tradition of Guru Ram Das. There are entire schools of practice based on one or two meditations. Kundalini is the compilation of effective meditations from all authentic endeavors across many times and cultures. Its diversity is both challenging and useful....

Activating the Kundalini

The Kundalini is this dormant potential in each of use. The Kundalini is the internal fire that ignites our Soul. Raising the Kundalini is about activating our internal flame, unleashing our passion for life and taming our fiery emotions so that we can use our energy to live an exciting and fulfilling life. The spirit of our soul is always available to us. Kundalini yoga was created to help us Awaken our Kundalini - the power of your Soul How do we tap the fire, the passion, the magnetic presence and the unlimited energy that the Kundalini represents

The Mysterious Kundalini

Kundalini, the serpent power or mystic fire, is the primordial energy or Sakti that lies dormant or sleeping in the Muladhara Chakra, the centre of the body. It is called the serpentine or annular power on account of serpentine form. It is an electric fiery occult power, the great pristine force which underlies all organic and inorganic matter. Kundalini is the cosmic power in individual bodies. It is not a material force like electricity, magnetism, centripetal or centrifugal force. It is a spiritual potential Sakti or cosmic power. In reality it has no form. The Sthula Buddhi and mind have to follow a particular form in the beginning stage. From this gross form, one can easily, understand the subtle formless Kundalini. Prana, Ahamkara, Buddhi, Indriyas, mind, five gross elements, nerves are all the products of Kundalini. It is the coiled-up, sleeping Divine Sakti that lies dormant in all beings. You have seen in the Muladhara Chakra that there is Svayambhu Linga. The head of the...

Yogakundalini Upanishad Introduction

The Yoga-Kundalini Upanishad is the eighty-sixth among the 108 Upanishads. It forms part of the Krishna Yajurveda. It deals with an exposition of Hatha and Lambika Yogas. It concludes with an account of the non-qualified Brahman. The Non-dual Brahman is the quest of all seekers. Though grouped among the minor Upanishads, the Yoga-Kundalini Upanishad is a very important work on Kundalini Yoga. It begins with an analysis of the nature of Chitta. It maintains that Samskaras and Vasanas on the one hand, and Prana, on the other, constitute the causes for the existence of Chitta. If Vasanas are controlled, Prana is automatically controlled. If Prana is controlled, the Vasanas are automatically controlled. The Yoga-Kundalini Upanishad presents methods for the control of Prana. The Yogic student does not deal with Vasanas. He concerns himself with the techniques of controlling the Prana. The three methods given in the Yoga-Kundalini Upanishad for the control of Prana are Mitahara, Asana and...

The Kundalini Reaches The Sahasrara By Piercing Through The Three Knots

The Kundalini pierces through the Brahmagranthi formed of Rajas. It flashes at once like lightning at the mouth of Sushumna. 62. Then Kundalini goes up at once through Vishnugranthi to the heart. Then it goes up through the Rudragranthi and above it to the middle of the eyebrows. 63. Having pierced this place, the Kundalini goes up to the Mandala (sphere) of the moon. It dries up the moisture produced by the moon in the Anahata Chakra which has sixteen petals. 66. Since at the same time the intense white form of moon is rapidly heated. The agitated Kundalini moves upwards and the shower of nectar flows more copiously.

The Goal of Kundalini Yoga

The goal of Kundalini yoga and all spiritual technologies is to create a conscious connection with the Divine. Yoga means union. The union is between our physical reality and god- consciousness, universal energies and our soul. The practice of Kundalini yoga removes our blocks and resistances, raises our energy to higher frequencies and opens our awareness to expanded realities. If we train ourselves to focus our attention on our goal of union, we can facilitate our transformation. The goal of this lesson is to set out guidelines on how we can train ourselves to pay

The Rousing Of The Kundalini

A wise Yogi should take the Kundalini from the Muladhara to the Sahasrara or the thousand-petalled Lotus in the crown of the head. This process is called Shakti-Chalana. 11. The Kundalini should pass through the Svadhishthana Chakra, the Manipura Chakra in the navel, the Anahata Chakra in the heart, the Vishuddha Chakra in the throat, and the Ajna Chakra between the eyebrows or the Trikuti.

Kundalini Pranayama

After mentally prostrating to the lotus-feet of the Sat-guru and reciting Stotras in praise of God and Guru, commence doing this Pranayama which will easily lead to the awakening of the Kundalini. Inhale deeply without making any sound. As you inhale, feel that the Kundalini lying dormant in the Muladhara Chakra is awakened and is going up from Chakra to Chakra. At the conclusion of the Puraka, have the Bhavana that the Kundalini has reached the Sahasrara. The more vivid the visualisation of Chakra after Chakra, the more rapid will be your progress in this Sadhana. Retain the breath for a short while. Repeat the Pranava or your Ishta Mantra. Concentrate on the Sahasrara Chakra. Feel that by the Grace of Mother Kundalini, the darkness of ignorance enveloping your soul has been dispelled. Feel that your whole being is pervaded by light, power and wisdom. Slowly exhale now. And, as you exhale feel that the Kundalini Sakti is gradually descending from the Sahasrara and from Chakra to...

Chapter Three Yoga Sadhana How To Awaken The Kundalini

One should become perfectly desireless and should be full of Vairagya before attempting to awaken Kundalini. It can be awakened only when a man rises above Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Mada and other impurities. Kundalini can be awakened through rising above desires of the senses. The Yogi, who has got a pure heart and a mind free from passions and desires will be benefited by awakening Kundalini. If a man with a lot of impurities in the mind awakens the Sakti by sheer force through Asanas, Pranayamas and Mudras, he will break his legs and stumble down. He will not be able to ascend the Yogic ladder. This is the chief reason for people going out of the way or getting some bodily infirmities. There is nothing wrong in the Yoga. People must have purity first then a thorough knowledge of the Sadhana, a proper guide, and a steady, gradual practice. When Kundalini is awakened there are many temptations on the way, and a Sadhaka without purity will not have the strength to resist. A thorough...

Kundalini Yoga

The Yogin who works for liberation does so through Kundalini Yoga which gives both enjoyment and liberation. At every centre to which he rouses Kundalini he experiences special form of bliss and gains special powers. Carrying Her to Siva at his cerebral centre, he enjoys the Supreme bliss which in its nature is that of Liberation and which when established in permanence is Liberation itself on the loosening of spirit and body. Energy (Sakti) polarises itself into two forms namely, static or potential (Kundalini) dynamic (the working forces of the body as Prana). Behind all activity there is a static background. This static centre in the human body is the centre serpent-power in the Muladhara (root support). This static Sakti is affected by Pranayama and other Yogic processes and becomes dynamic. Thus when completely dynamic that is when Kundalini unites with Siva in the Sahasrara the polarisation of the body gives way. The two poles are united in one and there is the state of...

Mind And Kundalini

Kundalini, the serpent-like coiled power that lies dormant with 3K coils with the face downwards in the Muladhara Chakra, the basal lotus at the end of the spinal column, is connected with Prana and Prana is connected with the mind. Even a Vedantin (student of the path of Jnana) can get Jnana-Nishtha (superconscious state) only through the awakening of Kundalini Sakti. No superconscious state or Samadhi is possible without the awakening of this primordial energy, whether it is in Raja Yoga, Bhakti Yoga or Jnana Yoga. Kundalini Sakti can only be aroused when the mind is actually free from passions and desires. Sakti-Chalana or Asvani Mudra, Tadana, Pracharana all help in awakening the Kundalini. Mahabheda helps in taking the Kundalini higher up. When the Kundalini Sakti is awakened, the mind enters, along with Prana and Jiva, the Sushumna and all perceptions are in the mental space (Chidakasa). After Kundalini is awakened, Prana passes upwards through Sushumna or Brahma Nadi within the...

Kundalini

The word Kundalini is a familiar one to all students of Yoga, as it is well known as the power, in the form of a coiled serpent, residing in Muladhara Chakra, the first of the seven Chakras, the other six being Svadhishthana, Manipuraka, Anahata, Visuddha, Ajna and Sahasrara, in order. thousand-petalled lotus, the seat of Sadasiva or the Parabrahman or the Absolute separated from whom the Kundalini or the Shakti lies at the Muladhara, and to unite with whom the Kundalini passes through all the Chakras, as explained above, conferring liberation on the aspirant who assiduously practises Yoga or the technique of uniting her with her Lord and gets success also in his effort. In worldly-minded people, given to enjoyment of sensual and sexual pleasures, this Kundalini power is sleeping because of the absence of any stimulus in the form of spiritual practices, as the power generated through such practices alone awakens that serpent-power, and not any other power derived through the...

The Kundalini

Kundalini is the fire of the Holy Spirit. Kundalini is a liquid fire of a purely spiritual nature. Kundalini is the igneous serpent of our magical powers. Kundalini is found enclosed within a membranous pouch that is nourished by the rays of the sun and of the moon. This membranous pouch is found concentrated within the coccygeal bone. The fire of the Holy Spirit and the Kundalini are the same. The difference between the Kundalini and the Holy Spirit is just a circumstance of names. In the east, the sexual force is called Kundalini and in the west it is called the Holy Spirit. Yet, it is the same sexual fire which is enclosed within the membranous pouch in the coccyx. The secret in order to awaken the Kundalini (fire of the Holy Spirit) lies in the following prescription Introduce the virile member into the feminine vagina, then, withdraw without spilling the semen (without reaching the orgasm). This is what is called sexual magic and it is mandatory for the Gnostic Medic to practice...

Baseline and Ongoing Process

Although silent meditation may seem simple, its mastery is not. Students take years and even lifetimes to perfect it. Fortunately, there are Kundalini yoga techniques that facilitate the process and speed up our progress. The purpose of this Kundalini Yoga Training Course is to share this technology. Our first step is to simply practice mindful silent meditation and watch our results. It is important to monitor your experiences so you have a baseline of comparison as we add the Kundalini exercises to the process.

Sat Nam the Seed of Truth Stress Reduction

Mantras are sounds that connect us with different levels of intelligence. SAT NAM is the most basic mantra used in Kundalini yoga. (pronounced like but mom ) SAT means the truth. NAM means name, identity, to identify with or to call upon. SAT NAM can be translated as Truth is God's Name. Truth is my (your, our) identity. It is used as a greeting to acknowledge the Truth in each one of us and as a personal mantra to express or tune into one's infinite identity. The science of breathing is called pranayama. Pranayama is an integral part of Kundalini yoga and meditation. In this lesson we will offer a few basics that will help you begin to be aware of your breath and to integrate conscious breathing into your daily life and yogic practice. Kundalini yoga links the breath with a mantra. The most basic mantra is SAT NAM. Our goal is to mentally link SAT to every inhale and NAM to every exhale. In this way the breath and the The simplest and most basic meditation in Kundalini yoga is...

The Awakening Process

The Kundalini is the boundless energy of our Soul. it lies dormant, ready and waiting to be awakened. The awakening process involves 3 complementary principles. The practice of Kundalini yoga incorporates these 3 principles. (1) Activation takes place with the practice of asanas or yoga exercises. When it is properly functioning, the release of the energy of the Kundalini is facilitated. The power of the exercises is enhanced with the breath and the internal recitation of mantras. The exercises strengthen the nervous system, stimulate the glands to secrete, loosen up the muscles and align the skeleton. The body is the temple of the Soul.

Fast Path In Your Face Yoga

In the yogic scriptures it is said that Kundalini yoga is 16 times more powerful than Hatha yoga. On the one hand, that seems to be good news. The Catch 22 is-- How do we make such quick progress We are confronted with our issues 16 times faster Kundalini yoga is In your face yoga. Spirituality can be a rough ride. A lot of things get better and some things certainly seem to get worse No spiritual journey is a free lunch. We are obliged to deal with our issues in order to set ourselves free.

Therapy and Group Healing

Kundalini yoga is a powerful tool that helps us unleash our vital energy. Regular practice unblocks and transmutes energy that is being held as stress, pain, anger and fear. Combined with the meditations, the breathing, movement and positions help clear our psyche, cleanse our subconscious and balance our emotional energy. However, the dynamics of the healing process often require outside support and interaction as well. I used to believe that I could just do Kundalini yoga and meditate and everything would be taken care of over time. Kundalini yoga and meditation does much to purge us of the emotional charges of past traumas. However, to achieve lasting empowerment and inner peace, we must look at and consciously resolve our inner wounds. Kundalini yoga and meditation help us become aware of our wounds and give us the strength and perspective to consciously deal with them. Our individual process is a very personal part of the empowerment game. However, as we practice Kundalini yoga...

Stay Tuned In and Listen

Your most important job is to stay present. Answers will come if you stay tuned and listen. Healing will happen as you release your resistance to change. Gifts will appear as you align with your soul. The energy will teach you. The experience will awaken you. Enjoy your unfoldment. Kundalini yoga allows you to savor your life and live to the fullest. What a gift

From Anger to Forgiveness

I personally found that simply identifying a situation that made me angry as a child allowed me to become calmer in my daily activities. I discovered that my fidgety agitation and tendency of my mind to jump from one activity to another was linked to the expectation of over responsibility as the oldest child. The combination of the revelation of this understanding, sharing with a friend who was also working with the book and the practice of Kundalini yoga catapulted me to a more peaceful state of consciousness.

Chakras Physical Wisdom And Healing

Kundalini Yoga opens, maintains, and develops the chakra system in the subtle body. It is the fastest and most potent approach discovered by the ancient sages. These techniques were closely guarded secrets. Yogi Bhajan, under the blessing of Guru Ram Das, has made all these techniques openly available without restriction. He said, The Age of Aquarius is dawning and every person has the opportunity to elevate themselves through sadhana, techniques, and commitment. The old ways will quickly change in this fast, electronic age of light. I am just a postman for those souls that have earned the destiny to elevate themselves.

Sa Ta Na Ma Meditation for Evolutionary Change

Kirtin Kriya, often referred to as SA TA NA MA meditation, is the most important meditation in Kundalini Yoga. It was one of the first meditations taught by Yogi Bhajan and remains today as a foundation meditation recommended for every student of Kundalini yoga. Yogi Bhajan says that if you can do only one meditation, this is it. It does everything for you in the order that you need. It is your teacher. And as you practice it, you will come to realize that it is your best friend. Whatever you need at the moment, it will readjust and align you to bring balance into your mind and thus your life. *(1) Kundalini Yoga The Flow of Eternal Power, Shakti Parwha Kaur Khalsa, Berkley Publishing Co. 1996. p. 104.

Experience the Infinite

The main purpose of raising the Kundalini and moving our energy from the lower to the higher chakras is to give us an experience of the infinite. The goal is to expand our awareness so that we have a conscious experience of what is, was and always will be, often referred to as God. This awareness is awakened in the upper chakras by activating the pituitary and the pineal glands. The possibility of experiencing the infinite is always there in each one of us. It never goes away. We can resist this experience by being preoccupied with and attached to the thoughts in our minds.

Healing Expansion and Evolution

Yogi Bhajan often requests that his classes chant this mantra along with the CD recorded by Gurunam Singh. He asked that we chant to this CD to help heal the traumatic emotions created by the shock of the events of 9 11. He often plays this CD in his home. This recording (and the other CDs by Gurunam) are especially powerful because they combine the science of Kabbalah with the technology of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. These recordings are especially powerful because Gurunam has combined the science of Kabbalah with the mantras of Kundalini yoga in producing the CD's Ground-breaking Gurunam has created a unique synthesis of the most powerful teachings of the Kabbalah and Kundalini Yoga.

Devotion Completes Sadhana

We always begin our morning practice of KY and meditation by chanting ONG NA MO GURU DEV NA MO, which opens us up the infinite vibration within us. We attune and balance our body and mind with Kundalini yoga and meditation. We consolidate and anchor our transformed vibration with deep relaxation.

Opening Up to Experiences

(5) We also become aware of how our subconscious fears create our reality. This is why we need meditation and mantras. Mantras penetrate to the subconscious mind and clear the programs that we cannot consciously access. If we could, our naive affirmations would work. How many of us have repeated some form of I attract the perfect partner into my life , and then actually met our Romeo or Juliet Or repeated prosperity affirmations and won the lottery Life is not that simple. Life is a complex, rich and elegant game and hard work. Fortunately if we have the effective tools like Kundalini Yoga and meditation, life can also be fun, rewarding and empowering.

The Path of Manifestation

Telluric Path

I personally found this out over twenty years ago when I first started practicing Kundalini Yoga and meditation for six to seven hours everyday. I was definitely succeeding in raising my energy. The problem was that I was so ungrounded and out of my body that people had to look up to the ceiling to talk to me. I couldn't figure out why I just wanted to hide. The basic problem was that my personal practice was incomplete. I was raising my energy, but I was not bringing it back down. The complete path of liberation requires us to live in this world as householders, to have relationships, to gainfully support ourselves, to honor Mother Earth and to participate in the creation of a sustainable world. To do the above we have to be grounded in our bodies and connected to physical and material reality. When we practice both the ascent and the descent, we can enjoy our bodies, stay present in the moment and enjoy life on Planet Earth. And as Yogi Bhajan points out, the path of Kundalini yoga...

Soparshan Chakra Kriya

Of all the twenty types of yoga, including Kundalini Yoga, this is the highest kriya. This meditation cuts through all darkness. The name, Sodarshan Chakra Kriya, means the Kriya for Perfect Purification of the Chakras. It will give you a new start. It is the simplest kriya, but at the same time the hardest. It cuts through all barriers of the neurotic or psychotic inside nature. When a person is in a very bad state, techniques imposed from the outside will not work. The pressure has to be stimulated from within. The tragedy of life is when the subconscious releases garbage into the conscious mind. This kriya invokes the Kundalini energy to give you the necessary vitality and intuition to combat the negative effects of the unchanneled subconscious mind.

Acknowledgment Of Yoga

The technology of Kundalini Yoga and White Tantric Yoga was brought to the West from India by the grace of the Siri Singh Sahib, Harbhajan Singh KhalsaYogiji (Yogi Bhajan). The teachings in this manual are entirely his gift. We wish to gratefully acknowledge his gift and inspiration to serve our highest human potential. Any errors or omissions in this manual are entirely the fault of the Editors and the Illustrator and by no means reflect upon the perfection and comprehensiveness of the teachings. The yoga sets in this manual are classes taught by Yogi Bhajan and are available on audio and video tapes. Although every effort has been made to communicate the technology of these classes accurately, nothing replaces the experience of doing Kundalini Yoga with the Master, Yogi Bhajan. We suggest that you enhance your yoga experience by collecting video tapes of one or more of your favorite sets from this manual. There is something about doing Kundalini Yoga in the presence of the Master,...

Our Inner Journey Tuning In

The practice of Kundalini yoga will automatically facilitate our alignment. However, the actual performance of the exercises or asanas is only half of our practice. The other half is the development of our awareness. We must practice focusing our mind on what we are feeling, thinking and experiencing in order to cultivate a deeper experience of reality and ourselves. It is through our mental focus that we develop our sensitivities to energies. It is through our attention that are able to participate in the process of our own alignment, healing and relaxation. It is by listening that we hear the voice of our soul, our intuition and receive the answers to our prayers. I practiced Hatha and then Kundalini yoga for many years before I realized that I must sit still and be with what was going on with my thoughts, body, and emotions in order to make conscious shifts especially in my mental and emotional states. The Buddhists call this attention mindfulness. The experience of being with our...

Befriending Your Body

Experiencing unity and wholeness requires the mastery of the five elements or tattvas - earth, water, fire, air and ether. Kundalini yoga is a science designed to achieve this alignment. Each astrological sign embodies the energy of one of the first 4 elements. The energy of the element is abundantly available when the Sun is in a particular element. When the Sun is joined by other planets in that element, it is even more abundantly available. This is the time to tune into and take advantage of these universal powers. ATTENTION AND KUNDALINI YOGA The practice of Kundalini yoga gives us a perfect opportunity to develop a loving relationship with our bodies. While we do the exercises we pay attention to the effect that each exercise is having on the body. Our goal is to activate various parts of the body. We are creating alignment and stimulating an optimal functioning. We are not punishing, jerking around or beating up our body. We want to stretch and strengthen, not strain or hurt....

Connect with your Body

The breath is the perfect tool to help us connect with our bodies. Use the breath to consciously open up energy in your body, to feel the different parts of the body and to stimulate activity. As a culture we are too often in our minds and not in our bodies. One of our goals is to use Kundalini yoga and meditation to help us re-establish a vital connection with our bodies. We are often out of our bodies because it is uncomfortable to be in them. We are going to use Kundalini yoga to cultivate feeling comfortable in our bodies. Our end goal is to enjoy being in our physical form

Unconsciousness is Dangerous

Periodically we get asked if the practice of Kundalini yoga is dangerous. First, many of the people who advance this opinion are not talking about KY as taught by Yogi Bhajan. When you hear an opinion about KY investigate if the person has actually practiced KY as taught by Yogi Bhajan. They often have not and are talking about spontaneous Kundalini awakenings of someone who has never practiced KY. Second, spreading fear and negativity perpetuates the current paradigm and system. There is no denying that people have had spontaneous kundalini awakenings with severe side effects. Also some people have raised their kundalini through meditation and visualization. When the techniques used are primarily mental and do not include the physical preparation and training, the body cannot handle the energy. In both cases the body is not prepared to receive the high levels of energy. It makes sense that if your body is wired for 100 volts and you receive 1000 or 10,000 volts, there could be...

The Biochemistry of Love

Yogi Bhajan has given us Kundalini yoga and specific meditations to change the biochemistry of our bodies and brains. These practices promote pleasurable states of being - joy and bliss. We feel happy for no apparent reason. This happens because the channels of the brain that connect us with higher states of experience and love are accessed and opened. As we practice these exercises and meditations, we experience who we are really are. We open up a field of consciousness within ourselves whereby it becomes easier, or at least possible, to confront the hidden agendas that we have allowed to cut off our divine connection.

When to Apply the Locks

The complete rootlock is done by slightly contracting the muscles of the rectum or anal sphincter, and the sex organ and pulling the navel center in toward the spine. To identify and work with the muscles of each of the chakras, practice working with them separately. When the mulbhand is applied while retaining the breath, the two major energy flows, prana and apana are united. This generates psychic heat which triggers the release of Kundalini energy.

Where is the Navel Center

In the very early Kundalini lessons taught by Yogi Bhajan, he said that the navel center is actually approximately 2-3 inches below the umbilicus. In these lessons, therefore, when we say navel center we are referring to a point 2-3 inches below the belly button. This is the center of energy that is the gravity balance point in the body. When we pump our navel energy or move from our navel center we are actually pumping and moving from a center where thousands of nerves come together. Each person can find this center in their own body by doing the Kundalini yoga exercises given by Yogi Bhajan. As you practice the exercises, the nerve endings will be stimulated and the energy will coalesce at this point. Practice of any of the martial arts will also help you find and align this center of gravity in your body. There are different schools of thought about the location of the navel center. Cultivating Awareness

Kundalini yoga is the yoga of awareness. Our goal is to cultivate greater and greater awareness of our own identity and our relationship with our body, others, our environment and the universe. The practice of Kundalini yoga opens our consciousness so we are able to receive more information and be more present and alert. Simply doing Kundalini yoga facilitates greater awareness. Optimal practice includes silent, doing nothing (passive) periods between exercises, and after tuning in (active) where we pay attention. We sit and sometimes lie down and bring our attention to what is happening without trying to influence it in any way. For maximum benefit, we cultivate awareness by monitoring our energy, how we feel, the sensations in our body and subtle changes that are taking place.

Opening the Heart Center

We were instructed to get up at 3 00am, take a cold shower and do 2 1 2 hours of Kundalini yoga and meditation. And then there was the rest of the program, which included seva (selfless service), devotional chanting, and teaching, setting up restaurants and ashrams. Who had time for love We were exhausted

Lesson

We have over 4000 students in our virtual Kundalini Yoga class, and growing every day We also have over 1300 participants in our KY discussion group, which is where you can ask questions and share your experiences. Many Kundalini Yoga teachers participate in this discussion group and are there to answer your questions. Many of our students share their experiences, so we can all learn from each other. You can join our discussion group You are indeed blessed to find the powerful technology of Kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Even modest practice of thirty minutes a day will create significant changes in your life. You may feel more energized, more relaxed and more alive all at the same time Your presence will become more magnetic and you will attract things to you that you previously had to run after.

Physical Wisdom

The ancient yogis and sages who developed Kundalini Yoga had a deep respect for the Creator of this human body. They knew, in their profound devotion and worship, that so perfect a Creator could only have created perfection in design, function and potential. Based on this respect, they sought knowledge of the totality of the human being. They researched the human ability to maintain good health, increase vitality, open consciousness and expand the experience of the excellence of human life. Their research gave them a great understanding of the nervous system, glandular system, organ system, energy system, and brain. They learned how blood, nerves, muscles, organs, and glands all work together. They investigated the seen and the unseen, and the inter-relationships between the physical and the subtle. From this research they developed Kundalini Yoga. Kundalini Yoga is a highly evolved technology based on a thorough understanding of the ecology of the human body, how the breath affects...

Infinite Experiences

The practice of Kundalini yoga will open you up to lots of new experiences. You may feel tingling in your body. You may have experiences related to cleansing of your physical body and subconscious mind. Your awareness will expand and you will be aware of more thoughts, insights, feelings and sensations.

Divine Addicts

I propose getting high on Kundalini Yoga and using this addictive power to hold on to the experience. This sounds easy, but this reorientation is a challenge too. Holding on to the feeling can be as challenging as breaking an addiction. What we are doing is breaking an old habit and creating a new one. We are training our mind to reorient our focus. We are reversing an energy pattern that has been in place for a long time. We are challenging an old belief system and creating a new one. The trick is to patiently train yourself and to keep up until you are addicted to God. You can cultivate an addiction to God with any Kundalini yoga set, breathing exercise or meditation. The important point is to do something to change your energy and then to focus on the feeling and satisfaction that you have created. Have fun feeling good and please share your results with us.

Cultivating the Zone

How do we do get into the Zone How do we stop our minds' manipulation and control trips Stopping the mind comes at very advanced stages of meditation. In fact, Yogi Bhajan says that the mind always produces 1000 thoughts per wink of the eye. Stopping that is out of my league. I like to approach the task from the perspective of changing channels. Kundalini Yoga and meditation help us change channels.

How to Tune In

Tuning in opens the channel in our mind that receives the highest spiritual frequencies. The mantra that we use is ONG NA MO GURU DEV NA MO. Although this mantra is used specifically for tuning in before practicing Kundalini yoga, it can be chanted at other times. You can chant it during the day, simply to reconnect with your higher self. You can do it alone as a preparation for silent meditation. Or you can chant it as a meditation for as long as you like. When I taught history and philosophy at International University in San Diego, I also taught a Kundalini yoga class. The students made up their own harmonic version of this mantra and chanted it walking around the campus. Chant at least 3 times, inhaling deeply through the nose before each sequence. The purpose of chanting is to Tune In. So do it as many times as it takes for you to feel that you are connected to the place and frequency that you need to be in to practice Kundalini yoga. Chanting this mantra is not a ritual. It...

Focus and Attention

The spine is where you will feel the flow of energy. Notice which parts of the spine feel warm or even hot and where there are no feelings or numbness. This information will indicate where your energy is flowing and where it is not. For the Kundalini to flow, the whole spine must be open. Kundalini is our vital, creative energy that flows through us all the time. The amount that flows through us determines our aliveness and awareness. The goal of practicing Kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is to GRADUALLY increase the flow of energy. Many people who practice Kundalini yoga do not experience huge rushes of uncontrollable energy. Rather they experience a gradual expansion of consciousness and increase in vitality that evolves over time.

Mantra for Tuning In

ONG NA MO GURU DEV NA MO is the mantra we use in Kundalini yoga to tune us to the frequency of our higher self or inner master. We begin each practice of Kundalini yoga with this mantra. This sacred mantra opens us to our spiritual channel. It also links us to all the spiritual masters who perfected this sacred science. By establishing a link with the Masters of Kundalini yoga, we are protected as we practice this sacred technology, as well as guided in our practice. The transmission of information and consciousness to students from Master teachers who have preceded us is referred to as the GOLDEN CHAIN. Yogi Bhajan, Master of Kundalini Yoga, who is the first to openly share this technology with the world, is a living connection to the golden chain. Connecting with the Master is of additional importance to those of you who are learning and practicing Kundalini yoga on your own. By chanting ONG NA MO GURU DEV NA MO, you can be guided in your practice. Actually once you chant the mantra...

Brainwave Meditation

We practice Kundalini yoga and meditation to change our brainwaves so that we can be mentally and emotionally balanced. The meditation below specifically changes our brainwaves. With consistent practice, you will notice that we do not unconsciously react, things in life do not bother you so much and you will feel more stable and neutral in your life situations.

The Gradational Ascent Of The Mind

If he reaches the spiritual centre in the brain, the Sahasrara Chakra, the thousand-petalled lotus, the Yogi attains Nirvikalpa Samadhi or superconscious state. He becomes one with the non-dual Brahman. All sense of separateness dissolves. This is the highest plane of consciousness or supreme Asamprajnata Samadhi. Kundalini unites with Siva.

Necessity For A Yogic Guru

In olden days the aspirants were required to live with the Guru for a number of years, so that the Guru could study the students thoroughly. The food during practice, what to practise and how, whether the students are qualified for the path of Yoga, and the temperament of the aspirants and other important items have to be considered and judged by the Guru. It is the Guru that should decide whether the aspirants are of Uttamai, Madhyama or Adhama type and fix different kinds of exercises. Sadhana differs according to the nature, capacity and qualifications of the aspirants. After understanding the theory of Yoga, you will have to learn the practice from an experienced Yogic Guru. So long as there is the world, there are books on Yoga and teachers also. You will have to search for them with Sraddha, faith, devotion and earnestness. You can get easy lessons from the Guru and practise them at home also in the initial stages of practice. When you advance a bit, for advanced and difficult...

The Foundations Of Sex Magick

The path of the Indian Tantrics involves the hypocrisy of the human condition itself, the misery and pain is a way of bringing insight into the practitioner. In the context of the work in question, the Luciferian uses similar methods. Not to transform the consciousness into some exterior divine God, rather to strengthen and transform conscious into an isolate spirit, similar to the archetype of Samael (Lucifer) or Ahriman, Lilith or Az-Jeh. To bring light in the path of Forbidden Sex Magick, you must awaken the Shakti, the Kundalini through exploring darkness and the beast within each of us, through that path do you ascend for as the Light Bringer.

The Magic Quabbalistic Word Tetragrammaton

I refrain from quoting any further analogous relations of number four and point out once more that the quabbalist adhering to my teachings and explanations may apply the key word four in all cases where the realization or the expression of legality is concerned. There is no doubt that in the quabbalah number four is also indicating the material plane. Not only the hermetic science of the West uses number four as a basis the same also finds expression in the wisdom of the East. For instance in Kundalini yoga, the Muladhara Chakra, the roughest center of human resuscitation, is symbolized by a square, in one corner of which an elephant is symbolized as the greatest and strongest animal in the world. By this it is pointed out, in a veiled way, that number four is the idea which serves as the starting point for a yogi's personal development. I devoted a special chapter to the Muladhara Chakra in my book Initiation Into Hermetics. This I mention again only to make the quabbalist remember...

Vrittiits Nature And Function

Wherefrom does a Vritti arise From the Chitta or mind. Why does a Vritti arise It is Svabhava of Antahkarana. What is its function It causes Avarana-Bhanga (removes the veil of Sthula Avidya that envelops the objects). It helps the evolution of a man till he attains perfection (Jivanmukti). It is Vritti that opens the Kundalini in a Jnani in the Ajna Chakra and joins it in Sahasrara. This is one path.

How To Change The Flow In Nadis

The above exercise is intended for general regulation of breath. Many other special exercises for the purification of Nadis and awakening Kundalini will be given in the subsequent chapters. A knowledge more secret than the science of breath, a friend more true than the science of breath, has never been seen or heard of. Friends are brought together by the power of breath. Wealth is obtained with comfort and reputation through the power of breath. The knowledge of the past, present and the future and all other Siddhis are acquired and a man reaches the highest state, by the power of breath.

Summary Of The Previous Lessons

Nadis are the Sukshma (astral) channels through which Prana (vital energy) flows to different parts of the body. Ida, Pingala and Sushumna are the most important of the innumerable Nadis. All Nadis start from the Kanda. Kanda is located in the space between the origin of the reproductory organ and the anus. Sushumna Nadi is situated within the Spinal Column, in the spinal canal. Within the Sushumna Nadi there is a Nadi by name Vajra. Chitra Nadi, a minute canal, which is also called Brahmanadi, is within this Vajra Nadi. Kundalini, when awakened, passes through Chitra Nadi. These are all Sukshma centres and you cannot have any laboratory tests and test-tube experiments. Without these subtle centres, the gross physical body cannot exist and function. Muladhara, Svadhishthana, Manipura, Anahata, Vishuddha, Ajna and Sahasrara are the important Chakras. When Kundalini passes on from Chakra to Chakra, layer after layer of the mind becomes opened and the Sadhaka enters into higher states of...

Nymphomania Or Uterine Furor

When clairvoyantly observing this elemental, we remember the 'Sagra' Maria Pastora, the great Priestess of the Snake. This great Master of the Mayan ray uses a green tunic and she always carries within a drum a snake of the same color as her clothes. All the great Initiates of the Snake use a green tunic. The snake has seven secrets. Our serpent Kundalini also has these seven secrets, which are the seven cosmic days of the Manvantara.

Sarvangasana Allmembers Pose

Kundalini Magic

This is a panacea, a cure-all, a sovereign specific for all diseases. It brightens the psychic faculties and awakens Kundalini Sakti, removes all sorts of diseases of intestine and stomach, and augments the mental power. It supplies a large quantity of blood to the roots of spinal nerves. It is this Asana which centralises the blood in the spinal column and nourishes it beautifully. But for this Asana there is no scope for these nerve-roots to draw sufficient blood-supply. It keeps the spine quite elastic. Elasticity of the spine means everlasting youth. It stimulates you in your work. It prevents the spine from early ossification (hardening). So you will preserve and retain your youth for a long time. It helps a lot in maintaining Brahmacharya. Like Sirshasana, it makes you an Oordhvaretas. It checks wet-dreams effectively. It rejuvenates those who have lost their potency. It acts as a powerful blood-tonic and purifier. It tones the nerves and awakens Kundalini. Spinal column is...

The Soul or the Astral Body

Named Kundalini yoga in the Indian doctrine. I desist, however, from a comment on these lotuses or centres, because the student interested in this problem will find all the necessary enlightenment in the respective literature. I will touch on it only slightly and say that the lowest centre is the so-called Muladhara or earth centre, having its seat in the lowest part of the soul. The next centre is that of the water, with its seat in the region of the sexual organs and designated in the Indian terminology as Swadisthana. The centre of fire, as centre of the soul, is in the umbilical region and is named Manipura. The centre of air as compensatory element is in the region of the heart and is termed Anahata. The centre of the ether or principle of akasa is found in the region of the neck and is named Visudha. Another centre, that of volition and intellect, is between the eyebrows and is called Ajna. As the supreme and most divine centre is regarded as the thousand-petaled lotus, named...

Mayurasana Peacock Pose

This is a wonderful Asana for improving digestion. It destroys the effects of unwholesome food, and increases the digestive power. It cures dyspepsia and diseases of the stomach like Gulma (chronic gastritis), and reduces spleenic and liver enlargements by increasing the intra-abdominal pressure. The whole abdominal organs are properly toned and stimulated well by the increase of intra-abdominal pressure. Sluggishness of liver or hepatic torpidity disappears. It tones the bowels and removes constipation (ordinary, chronic and habitual). It awakens Kundalini.

Sex Magick And The Watchers

Magick Power Initiation

As Kundala means in the Indian culture Coiled the very Kundalini Shakti is the divine power associated with the Chakras, it is the leading or guiding aspect while the Chakras are awakened and illuminated in the physical and spiritual body. Thus the serpent Tabaet, a form of the adversary, is the awakening aspect which brought divinity to woman with Lilith, to soon beget Cain the awakened one.

The Four Attributes of the Churches

The four attributes of each Church helps us to understand the unique nature of each of the energy centres. These centres are central to the process of transforming the electromagnetic field of the Gnostic from the Dialectic to the Static. The Kundalini or Serpent power based in the lowest centre is energised in such a way that the Serpent Seed of Satan (the Taint of original Sin) is replaced by the Serpent of Wisdom (the Messiah). It is interesting to find that this transition is reflect in the Old testament tale of Moses holding up the Serpent to heal the people of Israel. The serpent mentioned is numerically coded as 358 which is also the number of the Messiah. The four attributes of each Church as given in the Book of Revelation are Characteristics of the Church and City, Commendation of the Church, Counsel and Warning and Promises to Overcomers. To understand these centres let us examine the esoteric meanings of the attributes of each Church. (Fig 22)

Invocation Of The King Of The North

Oh Thou divine and ineffable AMAIMON Solar King of the North, humbly and with acknowledgment that I am an infamous sinner, I invoke Thee in the name of thy Father, who is in secret and by thy Intimate Christ and by thy Holy Spirit and by thy Divine Mother Kundalini. In the name of the holy and mysterious Tetragrammaton, humbly I beseech thy assistance. In the name of my interior God and of my Divine Mother Kundalini and by 'SECHIEL', 'BARACHIEL', 'BALANDIER', as Beings, come unto me. Do not abandon me, oh powerful Lord. Tetragrammaton, Tetragrammaton, Tetragrammaton. Amen, Amen, Amen.

The Yogic State of Thoughtlessness

If you become absolutely desireless, absolutely thoughtless, absolutely Vrittiless, if the mental Vrittis are destroyed in toto, Kundalini will ascend by itself, without effort, through the force of purity. Remove the dross of mind. You will yourself get help and answer from within.

Let them curse it that curse the day who are skilful to rouse Leviathan JOB

This monster is well known to cult worship all over the world. In China, however, there is an interesting twist. Far from being considered a completely hostile creature, dedicated to the erasure of mankind from the page of existence, the Dragon is given a place of preeminence and one does not hear of a Chinese angel or saint striving to slay the dragon, but rather to cultivate it. The Chinese system of geomancy, feng shui (pronounced fung shway) is the science of understanding the dragon currents which exist beneath the earth, these same telluric energies that are distilled in such places as Chartres Cathedral in France, Glastonbury Tor in England, and the Ziggurats of Mesopotamia. In both the European and Chinese cultures, the Dragon or Serpent is said to reside somewhere below the earth it is a powerful force, a magickal force, which is identified with mastery over the created world it is also a power that can be summoned by the few and not the many. However, in China, there did not...

Who Practice Grey Magick Spells In India

The Holy Letter discusses sexuality in all of its aspects. This includes mystical and magickal aspects of sex. Thus we read, when a man unites with his wife in holiness, the Sheckinah is between them in the mystery of man and woman. Since the Sheckinah (pronounced sheh-chen-ah, ch as in the German ach ) is equivalent to the idea of God's Holy Spirit or the Tantrik Shakti (note the similarity in the sounds of the words), we can see that the author of this book is talking about something special. Indeed, the author is discussing what is commonly called Kundalini Yoga (more accurately Layayoga). This will be discussed when I talk about Inner Alchemy.

Potential Negative Side Effects

Premature Kundalini While raising the kundalini is an extraordinarily difficult thing to do, it can be very worrying if kundalini energy begins manifesting prematurely. The body and mind must be energetically, mentally, and physically prepared to handle this level of energetic movement. Normally it takes several years of mental, energetic, and spiritual development and purification before it can be done with reasonable safety. A small number of people will, however, occasionally feel symptoms of kundalini energy stirring when they undertake serious energetic development of the primary circuit. This can result in spikes of energy shooting up through the lower spine, often accompanied by stinging and cramping sensations. For example, in the late eighties when I first raised my kundalini it almost killed me, quite literally. My body experienced severe physical shock. Once I had recovered from that, the resulting onslaught of energies and impressions at work within and around me began...

The Secret Order Of The Epoptae

Women who do not have a husband must not be preoccupied with this. In time, if they do not wed with a husband, they will receive a Deva from Nature as a husband and will practice sexual magic with him, in order to awaken their Kundalini, or Sacred Fire, which always grants us magical powers.

Pranayama What Is Prana

Nadi Suddhi (purification of Nadis) is an important matter in the early stage of Yoga. If there are impurities in the Nadis, the ascent of Kundalini in the Sushumna is seriously retarded. Purity in the Nadis facilitates the ascent of Kundalini. Pranayama brings about quick purification of the Nadis. Nadi Suddhi is the basis of Yoga. It is the foundation of Yoga. It is the first part of Yoga.

Sakras Spell Mantras And Kendra On

ESSENCE OF KUNDALINI YOGA There are four main forms of Yoga, according to one school of thought, namely Mantra Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Laya Yoga and Raja Yoga Kundalini Yoga is really Laya Yoga. There is another classification Jnana Yoga, Raja Yoga, Laya Yoga, Hatha Yoga and Mantra Yoga. This is based on the idea that there are five aspects of spiritual life -Dharma, Kriya, Bhava, Jnana and Yoga Mantra Yoga being said to be of two kinds according as it is pursued along the path of Kriya or Bhava. There are seven Sadhanas of Yoga, namely Sat-Karma, Asana, Mudra, Pratyahara, Pranayama, Dhyana and Samadhi, which are cleansing of the body, seat postures for Yoga purposes, the abstraction of the senses from their objects, breath-control, meditation, and ecstasy which is of two kinds imperfect (Savikalpa) in which dualism is not wholly overcome, and The Merudanda is the vertebral column. Western anatomy divides it into five regions and it is to be noted in corroboration of the theory here...

The Sarasvati Chalana

Through this practice of Sarasvati Chalana and the restraint of the Prana, the Kundalini which is spiral becomes straightened. 15. The Kundalini is roused only by rousing the Sarasvati. 16. When Prana or the breath is passing through one's Ida or the left nostril, one should sit firmly in Padmasana and lengthen inwards 4 digits the Akasa of 12 digits. In exhalation Prana goes out 16 digits and in inhalation it goes in only 12 digits, thus losing 4. But if inhaled for 16 digits then the Kundalini is aroused. 17. The wise Yogi should bring Sarasvati Nadi by means of this lengthened breath and holding firmly together both the ribs near the navel by means of the forefinger and thumbs of both hands one hand on each side, should stir up Kundalini with all his strength, from right to left, again and again. This stirring may extend over a period of 48 minutes. 18. Then he should draw up a little when Kundalini finds its entry into Sushumna. This is the means by which the Kundalini enters...

The Snake And The Mirror

When this spiritual fire snake reaches the head, then the Gnostic Medic attains possession of all the powers of a God. He fuses himself with his Intimate, and becomes an Angel. This igneous snake is called Kundalini by the Hindus. The human being who has awakened his Kundalini becomes a Physician anointed by God. The secret dwells in sexually connecting with our spouse and withdrawing from the sexual act without spilling the semen. Abundant information about this transcendental theme will be found in my books The Perfect Matrimony and The Revolution of Beelzebub.

Stimulating Primary Energy Centers

You may have heard a lot of hype about the dangers of primary energy center work and kundalini energy. I believe mis comes from a lack of understanding of the energy body and how its energy centers and structures work. While there are some potentially adverse side effects, the primary energy centers and the kundalini are not energetic time bombs waiting to go off should you accidentally touch the wrong energetic button or wire inside your own energy body. If primary-center development work is undertaken with care, respect, and intelligence, there is very little to worry about. Triggering a full raising of the kundalini takes enormous preparation, effort, and self-discipline over an extended period of time. I do not believe this could happen accidentally or through simple experimentation while using the energetic development system given in this book. You may come across a few accounts telling the experiences of some very special people, where kundalini is reputed to have spontaneously...

Beginners Exercise For Subtle Body Development

You have a magical temple, or special room used only for Magick, use it. lf not, wear something confortable (or nothing at all) and use a room that is quiet and confortable for you to be in. Hold a magical weapon, if you have one. Try incense of various kinds. Try the exercise while either standing or sitting. Always use a banishing ritual, but otherwise it is a good idea to experiment with different things. What will work well for one person may not work for another. Your Magical Diary will show you what works or doesn't work for you. NOTES TO STEP 2. This technique is used in Tibetan Yoga and is remarkably effective. When you feei your empty body coexisting with your physical body, then you will be able to experience your subtle body or aura. With mastery you will find that this subtle body contains the naclis and chakras of Kundalini Yoga. NOTES TO STEP 3. This is the critical step in this exercise. Normally you associate your body with the physical. Now you must shift your...

Saktisanchara Or Transmission Of Spiritual Power

Just as you can give an orange to a man and take it back, so also spiritual power can be transmitted by one to another and taken back also. This method of transmitting spiritual power is termed Sakti-Sanchara. Like birds, fish and tortoise, the transmitting of spiritual power can be done by the Guru through touch or sight or willing, and thinking. The transmitter sometimes enters the astral body of the student and elevates his mind through his power. The operator makes the subject sit in front of him and asks him to close his eyes and then transmits his spiritual power. The subject feels the electric current actually passing from Muladhara Chakra higher up to the neck and top of the head. He does various Hatha Yogic Kriyas, Asanas, Pranayama, Bandhas, Mudras, etc., by himself without any instruction, through inspiration. Here Prakriti works herself. The student must not restrain his Iccha-Sakti. He must act according to the inner light. The mind is highly elevated. The moment the...

Consciousness And Transformation

Awakening Shakti or the Kundalini to rise up through each chakra, piercing and illuminating it with the Golden Fire of Wisdom and perception. Understanding and becoming familiar with the daemonic feminine within through the Workings of a Shakti (i.e. a Scarlet Woman) or initiate Pairikas, a daughter of Az.

Concentration On The Internal Chakras

Opening of Sushumna causes a great deal of Ananda (bliss). You become intoxicated. You will entirely forget the world. When the opening of Sushumna is shaken a bit, the Kula-Kundalini Sakti tries to enter Sushumna. Great Vairagya comes in. You will become fearless. You will behold various visions. You will witness the splendid Antarjyotis. This is termed Unmani Avastha. You will get different Siddhis, different types of Ananda and you will get different kinds of knowledge by controlling and operating on different Chakras. If you have conquered the Muladhara Chakra, you have conquered the earth-plane already. If you have conquered the Manipura Chakra, you have already conquered fire. Fire will not burn you. Panchadharana (five kinds of Dharana) will help you to conquer the five elements. Learn them under a Guru who is a developed Yogi.

Samadhi Through Hatha Yoga

Prana and Apana that move in the chest and anus respectively are united by the Yogic processes of Jalandhara, Mula and Uddiyana Bandhas and the united Prana-Apana is driven into the SushumnaNadi of the spinal canal. The Pranas, when thus driven, draw up the mind also along the Sushumna Nadi which is otherwise known as Brahma Nadi. During the ascent in the Sushumna Nadi, the three Granthis or knots, viz., Brahma-Granthi at Muladhara-Chakra, Vishnu-Granthi at Manipura-Chakra and Rudra-Granthi at Ajna-Chakra should be cut asunder by strenuous efforts. These knots prevent the ascent of Kundalini. Bhastrika Pranayama breaks down these knots. When Kula-Kundalini Sakti that lies dormant in the Muladhara-Chakra in the form of a coiled serpent with 3X curves or turns, with the face downwards is awakened by spiritual Sadhana, it ascends upwards towards Sahasrara Chakra or the thousand-petalled lotus in the crown of the head and takes along with it the mind and Prana also. When the mind is in...

The Dissolution Of Prana And Others

The Kundalini then goes to the seat of the Sahasrara. It gives up the eight forms of the Prakriti earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, intellect and egoism. 70. After clasping the eye, the mind, the Prana and the others in her embrace, the Kundalini goes to Siva and clasping Siva as well, dissolves herself in the Sahasrara.

Publishers Note

It would seem altogether superfluous to try to introduce Sri Swami Sivananda Saraswati to a reading public, thirsting for spiritual regeneration. From his lovely Ashram at Rishikesh he radiated spiritual knowledge and a peace born of spiritual perfection. His personality has made itself manifest nowhere else as completely as in his edifying and elevating books. And this little volume on Kundalini Yoga is perhaps the most vital of all his books, for obvious reasons. Kundalini is the coiled up, dormant, cosmic power that underlies all organic and inorganic matter within us and any thesis that deals with it can avoid becoming too abstract, only with great difficulty. But within the following pages, the theory that underlies this cosmic power has been analysed to its thinnest filaments, and practical methods have been suggested to awaken this great pristine force in individuals. It explains the theory and illustrates the practice of Kundalini Yoga.

Theory The Quabbalah

This clearly shows that a perfect quabbalist must be a man connected with God, a man who has realized God within himself and who, being a God incarnate, makes use of the universal language materializing everything he says the very moment he says it. In whatever sphere he wants his language to materialize, there it will be materialized. In India, for instance, a man who can at once materialize every word he says is called a Wag . In Kundalini yoga this power and ability is identified with the Visuddha center. A perfect quabbalist knows all the rules of the micro- and macrocosmic Word, by which the law of the Creation by the Word is meant, and he also knows what true harmony is. A genuine quabbalist will never violate the laws of harmony since he is representing -- with his microcosmic language -- the Deity. If he acted contrary to the laws of harmony, he would not be a genuine quabbalist but a chaote. From the hermetic point of view, a quabbalist, or theurgist, is, in his body, a...

Job

Mastery over the created world it is also a power that can be summoned by the few and not the many. However, in China, there did not seem to be a backlash of fear or resentment against this force as was known in Europe and Palestine, and the symbol of might and kingship in China is still the Dragon. In the West, the conjuration, cultivation, or worship of this Power was strenuously opposes with the advent of the Solar, Monotheistic religions and those who clung to the Old Ways were effectively extinguished. The wholesale slaughter of those called Witches during the Inquisition is an example of this, as well as the solemn and twisted - that is to say, purposeless and unenlightened - celibacy that the Church espoused. For the orgone of Wilhelm Reich is just as much Leviathan as the Kundalini of Tantrick adepts, and the Power raised by the Witches. It has always, at least in the past two thousand years, been associated with occultism and essentially with Rites of Evil Magick, or the...

Who Is A Guru

The veil of Avidya, all doubts, Moha and fear, awakens Kundalini and opens the inner eye of intuition. A Guru can awaken the Kundalini of an aspirant through sight, touch, speech or mere Sankalpa (thought). He can transmit spirituality to the student just as one gives an orange-fruit to another. When the Guru gives Mantra to his disciples, he gives it with his own power and Sattvic Bhava.

Spiritual Power

The disciple does various Hatha Yogic Kriyas, Asanas, Pranayamas, Bandhas, Mudras, etc., by himself. The student must not restrain his Iccha-Sakti. He must act according to the inner Prerana (inner goading or stirring). The mind is highly elevated. The moment the aspirant closes his eyes, meditation comes by itself. Through Sakti-Sanchara Kundalini is awakened by the grace of the Guru in the disciple. Sakti Sanchara comes through Parampara. It is a hidden mystic science. It is handed down from the Guru to the disciple.

Sex Magick Workings

Vision And The Voice

Thinking Force, the Djinn (Azazel Shaitan) of Fire, masculine strength, energy, the movement of the self through life. Known also as Shaitan Satan this is the Black Serpent or Kundalini. In its masculine opposing nature, it is known as Ahriman, the Imagination. Samael is the Black Dragon.

Sahasrara Chakra

Sahasrara Chakra is the abode of Lord Siva. This corresponds to Satya Loka. This is situated at the crown of the head. When Kundalini is united with Lord Siva at the Sahasrara Chakra, the Yogi enjoys the Supreme Bliss, Parama Ananda. When Kundalini is taken to this centre, the Yogi attains the superconscious state and the Highest Knowledge. He becomes a Brahmavidvarishtha or a full-blown Jnani.

Muladhara Vrittis

O Divine Mother Kundalini, the Divine Cosmic Energy that is hidden in men Thou art Kali, Durga, Adisakti, Rajarajeswari, Tripurasundari, Maha-Lakshmi, Maha-Sarasvati Thou hast put on all these names and forms. Thou hast manifested as Prana, electricity, force, magnetism, cohesion, gravitation in this universe. This whole universe rests in Thy bosom. Crores of salutations unto thee. O Mother of this world Lead me on to open the Sushumna Nadi and take Thee along the Chakras to Sahasrara Chakra and to merge myself in Thee and Thy consort, Lord Siva. Kundalini Yoga is that Yoga which treats of Kundalini Sakti, the six centres of spiritual energy (Shat Chakras), the arousing of the sleeping Kundalini Sakti and its union with Lord Siva in Sahasrara Chakra, at the crown of the head. This is an exact science. This is also known as Laya Yoga. The six centres are pierced (Chakra Bheda) by the passing of Kundalini Sakti to the top of the head. 'Kundala' means 'coiled'. Her form is like a coiled...

Magical Models

By the Eighteenth Century, and the rise of Science, the idea of 'Animal Magnetism' arose in the West, being the first manifestation of the 'Energy' Model of magick. This model places emphasis on the presence of 'subtle energies' which can be manipulated via a number of techniques. Along came Bulwer Lytton and his idea of 'Vril' energy, Eliphas Levi and the Astral Light, Mediums & ectoplasm, Westernised 'popular' accounts of Prana, Chakras, and Kundalini, and eventually, Wilhelm Reich's Orgone energy.

Breathing

In some forms of Taoist meditation, people are taught to visualize a stream of energy flowing in a circle that starts near the navel, travels down to the groin, up the spine, over the head, down the chest and back to the navel. Kundalini yoga teaches a similar thing, but the energy doesn't flow in a circle, it flows out through the top of the head. I don't recommend the latter method because some Taoists claim that it's dangerous to push the energy out your head.

Kapalabhati

It cleanses the respiratory system and nasal passages. It removes spasm in bronchial tubes. Consequently Asthma is relieved and cured also in course of time. Consumption is cured by this practice. Impurities of the blood are thrown out. The circulatory and respiratory systems are toned to a considerable degree. Shat-Karmas are intended for the purification of the body. When Nadis are impure Kundalini cannot pass from the Muladhara to Sahasrara Chakra. Purification of Nadis is effected through Pranayama. For Pranayama, you should know well about Prana.

Padmas Or Chakras

When Kundalini is awakened it passes on from Muladhara to Sahasrara through all the Chakras. At every centre to which the Yogi directs the Kundalini, he experiences a special form of Ananda (Bliss) and gains special Siddhis (psychic powers) and knowledge. He enjoys the Supreme Bliss when Kundalini is taken to Sahasrara Chakra.

Mantras

Awakening Kundalini is effected by Mantra also. It is a portion of Bhakti Yoga. Some aspirants should repeat the Mantra given by their Guru even lakhs of times. During the time of Diksha of an Uttama Adhikari, the Guru utters a particular Mantra and Kundalini is awakened immediately. The consciousness of the student is raised to a very high degree. This depends upon the faith of the student in his Guru and in the Mantra. Mantras, when received from the Guru in person, are very powerful. Aspirants in Kundalini Yoga should take to this Mantra Sadhana only after getting a proper Mantra from a Guru. Therefore I am not touching this point in detail. Mantras when learnt through ordinary friends or through books cannot produce any benefit at all. Mantras are numerous and the Guru should select a particular Mantra by which the consciousness of a particular student can be awakened.

Petals On Chakras

Each Chakra has a particular number of petals with a Sanskrit alphabet on each petal. The vibration that is produced at each petal is represented by the corresponding Sanskrit letter. Every letter denotes the Mantra of Devi Kundalini. The letters exist in the petals in a latent form. These can be manifested and the vibrations of the Nadis felt during concentration. The number of petals of the lotuses varies. Muladhara, Svadhishthana, Manipura, Anahata, Vishuddha and Ajna Chakras have 4, 6, 10, 12, 16, and 2 petals respectively. All the 50 Sanskrit letters are on the 50 petals. The number of petals in each Chakra is determined by the number and position of the Yoga Nadis around the Chakra. I will make it still clear. From each Chakra a particular number of Yoga Nadis crop up. The Chakra gives the appearance of a lotus with the Nadis as its petals. The sound produced by the vibrations of the Yoga Nadis is represented by the corresponding Sanskrit letter. The Chakras with their petals...

Ardha Matsyendrasana

This Asana increases appetite by increasing the digestive fire. It destroys terrible diseases. It rouses Kundalini and makes the moon-flow, Chandranadi, steady. Above the root of the palate the moon is said to be located. It drops the cool ambrosial nectar, which is wasted by mixing with gastric fire. But this Asana prevents it.
