QUASSIA: Good for love. Mix with a snippey of hair from yourself and from your lover (with his/her permission, of course!) with quassia chips, burn, and keep the ashes in a small bottle to preserve the love.
QUINCE: Used for love, happiness, luck, and protection from evil. Carry quince seeds in a red flannel bag to protect against physical attacks and harm. Use quince seeds in charms and spells pretaining to love, protection, and happiness.
RADDISH: Good for protection and lust.
RAGWORT: Courage, protection. Used in charms to ward off evil spirits. Associated with faeries. Also known as: Fairie's Horse, Faerie's Horse, Fairy Horse, and Faery Horse.
RASPBERRY LEAF: Used for healing, love, protection. Raspberry leaves are carried (Not Eaten), by pregnant women to reduce the pain involved in pregnancy and childbirth. Bathe in an infusion of raspberry to keep your current love relationship alive.
RED CLOVER BLOSSOM: Magickal uses include, fidelity, love, money, protection, and the blessing of domestic animals. Carry to aid in financial arrangements. Sprinkle around the home to remove negative spirits.

RED WILLOW BARK: The magickal used include meditation and clearing. A fabulous incense wood with a sweet and dry aroma.

ROSE: The Rose is known as, "The" herb of love. Add Rose petal to your bath water to conjure up a lover. Put red rose petals in a red velvet bag and pin this under your clothes to attract love. You can also wear Rosehips as beads to bring love to you.
Rose oil and Rose incense are both used in many love spells. If you wash your hands with Rose water before mixing love potions, the potions will be much stronger.
Different colors of Roses have different meanings so you can use Roses to give someone a message magically.

ROSE BUD: The magickal uses of this herb includes divine love, close friendships, domestic peace and happiness, lasting relationships. It's great for use in incense, potpourri or bath magick.

ROSE GERANIUM: Averts negativity, especially in the form of gossip or false accusations.

ROWAN: Good for protection, magickal powers, success, anti-haunting. Use leaves and berries in amulets for healing and promoting psychic powers. Also good for use in luck spells and mixtures. Rowan wood is often used to make wands and divining rods.

RUE: The magickal uses include healing, health, mental powers, freedom and protection against the evil eye. Use as an asperger to cast salt water for purification of the circle or removing negativity from home or house.
Hang the dried herb indoors to help yourself see and understand your mistakes. Burn to banish negativity or bad habits.
